So I saw this over on Little Baby Garvin's blog and thought what the heck, I'm going to make a list. She makes incredible chalkboard prints for sale on Etsy & of course, I purchased a Christmas one, but it will not be put up until after Thanksgiving.
This list was a little harder to come up with than I thought!
This list was a little harder to come up with than I thought!
- Add at least one new ornament to our Christmas tree!
- DIY at least one new decoration - Pinterest has already given me a few ideas!
- Send Christmas cards for once, that I will make myself. Better get on top of this one!
- Have a date night with Cody in front of the fireplace - hotdogs & s'mores!
- Make Christmas cookies / treats, especially my favorite, Mexican wedding cookies!
- Get a Christmas manicure - Pinterest has lots of cute ideas!
- Have fun Black Friday shopping with mom and my sisters!
- Participate in Clark Howard's Christmas Kids! We don't have kids nor do we have to buy a lot for Christmas, so this year we will buy for a deserving little boy or girl!
- Watch Home Alone / Home Alone 2 at least a dozen times!
- Watch Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel!
- Put Christmas lights up outside & our 6 foot snowman on the front porch to greet guests!
- DIY at least one Christmas gift! Have one in mind, now just to buy the supplies!
- Play Christmas bingo on Christmas Eve with Cody's family! You never know who will end up with the potted meat and then someone else will try and trade! A night full of laughs!
- See Christmas lights at some place new! Maybe Callaway Gardens or maybe even closer to home!
- DIY cute Christmas gift tags for all the presents!
- Drink hot chocolate by the fire!
- Make the house smell like Christmas! Pinterest has lots of stove top recipes that will work!
- Stuff our stockings on Christmas Eve! Cody will peek or want something if I don't wait until the last minute!
- Decorate the Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving! Hopefully, I won't be too tired from Black Friday shopping!
- Kiss Cody under the mistletoe anytime I want! Now just to find some!
- Buy new gift wrap & wrap presents!
- Eat grilled lobster tails on Christmas day! Been a Christmas tradition for several years and we can't stop now!
- Turn up the Christmas music as loud as I want while decorating!
- Spend as much time with family & friends as possible!
- Get a Christmas picture with Cody!
Thanksgiving is just 2 weeks away and Christmas will be here before we know it! Where has the time gone this year?!?!
Have you made your Christmas bucket list yet?
